8th Class Result download 2014 ________________ Annual Education Department of Kerala has declared the result for 8th class on 4th Jan 2015. The certificate can be downloaded from the official website of the department. Once it is downloaded, it should be printed on standard A4 size paper. The students must carry this certificate with them during their visit to the higher secondary schools. It should not be shared with other persons or organisations that are not directly related to K-12 education system in India. The council for its goals and objectives is given below:
The government of Kerala has announced reservation for certain positions such as teacher, constable and many other positions as following: (a) The students belonging to Schedule Caste should apply only if they have scored at least 45% marks in class XII. The student scoring 45% or more marks should appear for interview after class XII. (b) The students belonging to Schedule Tribes should apply only if they have scored at least 45% marks in class XII. The student scoring 45% or more marks should appear for interview after class XII. The State level Seminar on the "New Education Policy and Practices" was organized by the KSER&T at Vazhuthacaud Convention Hall on 26 February 2015. Dr T P Kuriakose, IAS(Rtd), Director, School Education, Govt of Kerala inaugurated the seminar. The Seminar was chaired by Prof. Sukumaran Nair, Vice-Chancellor of Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur. The seminar was attended by representatives from all the collegiate educational institutions in the state. The seminar gave an opportunity to the entire teaching fraternity on overall deliberations on various issues relating to various factors influencing students' performance in class X and XII examinations conducted by different boards/universities on subjects like, competency based curriculum, teaching methodology, co-curricular activities etc. The main purpose of the seminar was to discuss about the new education policy of India 2010 with special focus on its future implications for India education scenario particularly in secondary and higher secondary education sector. The speakers included Prof. Sukumaran Nair, Vice-Chancellor, Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur; Dr. T. P Kuriakose, IAS(Rtd), Director, School Education, Government of Kerala; Ms Sajita Abraham, Director of Co-curricular Activities and Sports for the Directorate of Secondary Education and Research (Kerala) and Dr Rajesh Kumar Lalchhanhima Raju – Advisor to the Chairman, KSER&T The professors from various colleges participated actively in the seminar with their experience on various aspects surrounded by co-curricular activities for students involving social awareness programmes organised during school hours as well as extra curricular activities conducted after school hours or during weekends.
